I'm Anabel Dianne "Bella," founder of Ancient Leisure. I've always wanted a quiet corner on the internet — a place that feels like walking into a room someone actually tended. I write because it slows me down. I research because I'm curious. I photograph because beauty deserves a witness. I also think a lot about what happens when humans have more time than they know what to do with — and why the answer keeps returning to the body, the kitchen, nature, and the neighborhood.
Ancient Leisure is a life philosophy company for the age of automation. I've worked in sales, in offices, in corporate structures — and outside of them — enough roles and industries to know that the most important work rarely has a title. I was born in California and raised between here and Jalisco, Mexico, and I draw heavily from both. I'm a mother of four, building slowly and on purpose.
